Features

1. Every grain is a gift from the earth. 100% domestically grown wheat, mainly from Toyama Prefecture.

In a market dominated by imports, we are committed to using domestically grown grains, delivering the powerful flavor and peace of mind of the grains as they are. Rooted in the idea of "Shindo Fujitsu," we continue to select grains grown in the water and soil of Japan.

2. Pure deliciousness with no additives, oil or salt

The only ingredient is Job's barley. The aroma and sweetness are brought out by the artisanal roasting process. Because it has no unnecessary seasonings, it is an excellent match for those who are concerned about daily nutritional balance and natural foods.

3. Known as the "king of grains," it has well-balanced nutrition

It contains a balanced amount of ingredients that support daily beauty and vitality, such as high-quality protein, amino acids, B vitamins, and dietary fiber. You can easily take in the "power of grains" as a snack.

4. Go gluten-free for a lighter option

Although the name includes the word "wheat," Job's Barley is a member of the grass family and does not contain gluten. In an age where food diversity is increasingly required, it's great to be able to enjoy the same snack with the whole family.

5. Convenient 7g individual packets x 16 bags

Just put one packet in your bag. Perfect for the office, travel, outdoors, or after the gym. No need to measure, so you won't overeat and it's also useful for calorie control.

The Producer's Story - The Philosophy of Taiyo Foods

Taiyo Foods was founded in 1957 by founder Yasuo Sasaoka, who believed that "food nourishes the body and mind." After graduating from university, he worked for a pharmaceutical manufacturer where he was first exposed to the world of traditional Chinese medicine, and became fascinated by it. He decided to bet his life on its potential and unknown power.

Utilizing knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and extensive research into Job's Wheat and fermented foods, Job's Wheat Enzyme was born in 1974.

Job's tears is a grain in the grass family that has been cherished since ancient times, sometimes called the "skin-clearing grain." This name does not simply refer to one of its effects, but is also proof that throughout history it has been revered as a plant that "maintains healthy skin and supports beauty and health."

For over 60 years since then, Taiyo Foods has continued to make progress without stopping, adhering to the principle of "manufacturing products that are close to nature and people." In their fields in Toyama, they cultivate over 40,000 square meters of organic Job's tears fields, and grow each grain with care, listening to the voice of the earth as it changes with the seasons.

Currently, the third generation inherits this vision. With the founder's beliefs in mind, we continue to research and improve our products to address the new health challenges faced by modern people - intestinal disorders, lifestyle-related diseases, and health problems caused by a stressful society.

Rather than simply preserving tradition, the company is committed to modern fermentation techniques, organic farming practices, and efforts to increase transparency in the manufacturing process, ensuring that "safe food" is passed on to the next generation.

Fermented over time, it is delivered in its natural state with sincerity. Each cup is the embodiment of the passion that has been passed down from the founder to the second and third generations. From the past to the future, Taiyo Foods will continue to move forward with its mission of "protecting people's health."
