What is Arimoto Partnership?

Arimoto was founded in 1952. The company started out in its home in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, and began manufacturing snacks made with starch, which was still a rare material at the time.

Despite suffering from two fires, the company began producing rice crackers (senbei) in 1960, and in 1961 began producing "Genmai Konoha" senbei crackers made from 100% brown rice using brown rice grown using natural farming methods.

In 2009, the company developed dorayaki made entirely from rice flour, becoming a pioneer in gluten-free confectionery, which was still rare at the time.

The company handles everything from making the rice crackers dough to baking them in-house. While some rice cracker shops only purchase the dough and bake it, Arimoto is particular about making the rice crackers, starting from the dough.

We use domestically produced ingredients whenever possible, do not use additives, and continue to make sweets that are good for your body.

Although we cannot produce large quantities at once, we are a company that strives to make each product carefully.
