These sliced and dried shiitake mushrooms are grown on logs in Kyushu. They have a rich aroma and delicious flavor. Because they're pre-sliced, they rehydrate quickly, making them ideal for when you're in a hurry. They're perfect for everyday use in simmered dishes, soups, and chawanmushi (savory egg custard).
