The secret fiber that can wash away oil and grease with just water

How is it possible to remove oil from 100% cotton fabric using only water?

The secret lies in how the thread is spun .

When you look at the fibers of this product under a microscope, you can see that they are extremely fine and fluffy, floating in the air.

This soft fluff is gentle on the skin, yet still effectively removes dirt .

The average size of a pore is said to be about 0.2 mm.

Cotton fibers are 0.012~0.028mm in diameter, which is thinner and softer than pores.

Below is a close-up comparison of fibers spun using conventional spinning methods (left) and the fibers of this product (right).

The fibers, which contain plenty of air, gently absorb water and oil, entangling them with their fine fibers.

Washing with just water... I wonder if it's clean. For those of you who have oily skin, use soap gently.

You may be wondering, "Can't I just wash it by hand?" However, even if you wash it with soap, washing it with this product will remove dirt more easily.

Also, when you apply soap, it becomes soft and silky to the touch , even though it is cotton, and it feels really comfortable...

▼Experiment

After applying lipstick and foaming facial cleanser, the left half was washed with hands and the right half with this product .

Five unique features of this product that you won't find anywhere else!

1. Farmland that has never used pesticides

"Organic cotton" generally refers to cotton grown on farmland that has not used pesticides for the past three years.

This product meets even higher standards and is made from 100% cotton grown on farmland where pesticides have never been used in the past.

"Using pesticides will damage the soil. Using fertilizer will attract insects, and you'll have to use pesticides again. If you don't use pesticides, you can grow big cotton plants, and microorganisms will also grow in the soil." This is the belief that the villagers hold dear.

2. The only traditional spinning technique handed down in Japan

Using a spinning machine that was invented during the Meiji period and has been passed down through the generations, the yarn is spun slowly and manually, taking more than 100 times longer than modern mass-production spinning.

This slowly spun yarn produces fibres that are full of air, which is the key to their ability to absorb water and oil.

3. Chemical-free manufacturing process

For general cotton products, even those labeled as organic cotton, some chemicals are used as part of the manufacturing process to condition the surface of the fibers and fabric.

However, this product does not contain any chemicals or other drugs.

In order to preserve the texture of the cotton itself and reduce the environmental impact, we have devised manufacturing methods that do not use chemicals such as boiling, thereby maintaining quality.

4. Handcrafted by skilled tailors

This product is entirely sewn in Japan. Although it may look simple, it is actually different from normal sewing in that the fabric used for this product is loosely woven, meaning that the fabric is prone to unraveling and cannot be re-sewn.

Each product is handcrafted by a skilled seamstress with 40 years of experience.

(Sewing process)

By accumulating these detailed attentions and taking more than 100 times longer than mass production, we are able to deliver natural, water-only cotton towels that are gentle on the skin and the environment, as they are made from the fluff itself.

5. Cotton that has been cultivated with care is not thrown away

Generally, when cotton is mass-produced, only fibers (mainly long fibers) that can withstand the high-speed machines can be made into yarn and fabric, and cotton that cannot be spun successfully is discarded.

On the other hand, the yarn used in this product is finished slowly over time, so fibers (mainly short fibers) that would be discarded in mass production can be spun softly, and no cotton is wasted.

We are also particular about reducing waste at the sewing stage. We calculated the width of the fabric, adjusted it in 5mm increments, and developed the size and shape to avoid scraps, and after repeated experiments, we found a size that is easy to use for both men and women with different hand sizes, quick drying, and comfort.

Reducing material waste is not only environmentally friendly, but it also allows us to lower the prices so that our products are more affordable for our customers, allowing us to deliver products that can be used continuously in everyday life and that many people can pick up.

At first glance, it may just look like fabric...

We would like to put our time and effort into delivering this product so that it can be used by many people in a variety of situations.

Made of 100% cotton that does not use any pesticides or chemicals, it is made using a special manufacturing method that allows you to remove sebum stains with just water.

These are small mittens that fit three fingers comfortably.

How to use

①Soak in water

Soak the mittens in lukewarm or cold water and wring them out lightly.

By adding water, it will be more easily absorbed into the skin and will reach dirt in pores.

② Wipe off

Wipe the skin and remove dirt.

When doing this, do not apply pressure or rub, but wipe gently, wrapping around the skin and as if stroking the thin surface of the skin.

What a waste! Ideas for using everything up until the very last bit!

① First, without makeup

If you use it as a makeup remover, it may stain the fabric slightly, so please first try it as a face wash when you are not wearing makeup.

②Try using it as a makeup remover

Use it as a makeup remover or sunscreen remover.

Many customers use one product each for washing their face and removing makeup.

③ Soften your elbows, knees, heels, etc.

Elbows, knees, and heels are areas where signs of aging are easily seen.

Try gently rubbing the areas where the skin tends to get hard.

We have received a lot of feedback saying, "It's amazing how my skin has become moist and soft."

4. For washing dishes and cleaning fine surfaces

When it becomes too weak to be used as a facial cleanser, you can also use it as follows:

For detailed wiping of wet areas such as bathtubs and sinks

Can be used as a cup cleaner to remove oily stains without the need for detergent

⑤Finally, compost it!

Use it a lot and when you throw it away, just put it in the compost and it will biodegrade properly.
