This placemat is made from the lightest wood in Japan, paulownia, and is incredibly thin and light.

Feature 1: The inherent lightness of paulownia wood: This placemat is made of paulownia wood, the lightest wood in Japan, and is only 6mm thick and weighs only 190g. The surface is coated with urethane paint, so it is stain-resistant and can be washed with water. It is easy to use.
Feature 2: Kamachigumi technique: We adopted the "frame construction" that is also used for paulownia chests, and our unique dimensional design, born from years of research, minimizes the shrinkage and warping of paulownia wood. This has resulted in a placemat that is both thin and durable.
