Hello~ I'm Miko, the manager of Shokakko Shoten!
This may be a bit sudden, but what do you pay attention to when buying fruit at the supermarket? Seedless grapes that can be eaten with the skin and seedless persimmons are super sweet, don't produce any waste, and are so convenient. I love them too.
However, the other day I read an article shared by the NEXT WISDOM FOUNDATION, a general incorporated foundation , and it shocked me a bit.
The story is about Noguchi Isao , who runs a seed store called "Noguchi no Tane" in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, which sells seeds of native and established vegetable varieties from all over the country.
We eat these seedless fruits every day without even thinking about it. But how can they grow without seeds? Do you know what goes on behind the scenes?
Today, based on the shocking facts I learned from Noguchi's article, I would like to share some tips on how to rediscover the "unnaturalness" of the foods we eat every day and the "vitality" that has been lost from them.
Well then, let's get started!
1. The grapes are bathed in hormones.
The seedless grapes we eat every day are not the result of a natural mutation (with the exception of a few varieties). Most of them are grown by farmers through a process called "gibberellin treatment."
What is "gibberellin treatment" that tricks plants?
Gibberellin is a type of plant hormone. A bunch of tiny baby grapes is dipped into a cup filled with this gibberellin solution (this is done twice).

This causes the vine to think, "Oh, I've been pollinated!"
Even though the grapes are not actually pollinated (i.e., no seeds are formed), the action of hormones alone causes the fruit to swell and grow. In other words, the grapes are in a state where their bodies have been artificially enlarged without containing the life (seeds) of the next generation . This is the true nature of seedless grapes.
2. Are we eating a diet lacking in vitality?
This is not limited to grapes. Most of the vegetables sold in supermarkets today are what are called "F1 varieties (first generation hybrids)."
F1 seeds are a technique for efficiently producing vegetables that are beautiful in shape, grow quickly, and are resistant to disease by crossing parents with different characteristics. There is no doubt that this is an amazing technique that supports modern food supplies. However, it comes at a big price. Even if you take seeds from F1 vegetables and plant them, they will not grow in the same way as the parents (they will not be uniform in shape or grow well).
Can you feel better by eating vegetables that cannot produce offspring?
Of course, these foods are not immediately toxic when eaten. They contain calories and, according to the analysis, vitamins and minerals.
However, through his books and lectures, Isao Noguchi of Noguchi Seeds continues to sound the alarm about a "serious problem" facing modern agriculture.
"Every day we continue to eat plants that cannot pass on their life to the next generation. Doesn't that mean we are taking in energy that will lead to the extinction of species?"
The fundamental cause of this concern, which Noguchi fears, is the problem of "male sterility," which he will explain next.
3. Plants without stamens: What is male sterility?
From here on, the discussion will become a little more technical, but this is an unavoidable fact when it comes to understanding the essence of food.
Currently, plants with a trait known as "male sterility" are used to efficiently mass-produce F1 seeds.
■ "Infertile" plants that cannot pollinate themselves
Normally, plants have a "pistil" and a "stamen" in one flower, and produce seeds by pollinating with their own pollen (self-pollination). However, this does not allow for the efficient production of F1 hybrids (because the resulting seeds would be pure seeds of the same parent).
To address this issue, "male sterile" strains discovered through mutation are utilized. These are plants that are unable to produce normal pollen (stamens), which is equivalent to "male infertility" in humans . By using these strains, it is possible to ensure that pollen from a "different father" is used for pollination, dramatically increasing the efficiency of F1 seed production.
■ Abnormalities in mitochondria, the engine of cells
For those of you with a strong intellectual curiosity, let me explain the mechanism in more depth.
Why can't they produce pollen? Recent research has revealed that most cases of male sterility are caused by genetic abnormalities in mitochondria , the energy factories within cells.
Mitochondria are organs that play a fundamental role in life, producing the energy (ATP) we need to survive. Plants require a huge amount of energy to produce the "next life" in the form of pollen. However, male sterile plants have defective mitochondria, which means they are unable to produce this energy and as a result lose their reproductive ability.
■ What are we eating?
Through our diet, we take in not only the nutrients that plants contain, but also their cells and the mitochondria within them.
What if many of the vegetables we eat on a daily basis had mitochondria with defective energy production systems ? What if we ate only plants that had enough calories (fuel) but whose vitality (engine) was not fulfilling its role?
Can we say with certainty that this is unrelated to the "unexplained ailments" and "lack of vitality" that modern people suffer from?
4. The miracle of "reversion" caused by chlorella
Meanwhile, Noguchi shared a truly astonishing story in one of his lectures.
Amazingly, when chlorella extract was sprayed on seedless grapes that had been treated with hormones to prevent them from producing seeds, the seeds were revived (the grapes returned to being seeded) .

Why did this happen?
This is neither a dream nor magic. From a plant physiological perspective, it is speculated that this is the result of a special component found only in chlorella, called "CGF (Chlorella Growth Factor)," acting on plant cells.
The ability to "adjust" the balance of plant hormones
In the first place, seedless grapes were created by artificially adding a plant hormone called gibberellin to intentionally disrupt the hormonal balance. What happened when they were given chlorella CGF, an incredible source of energy for cell division?
One theory is that the nucleic acid and amino acid complex contained in CGF restores the plants' out-of-sync hormone balance to its "original, normal state." As a result, the plants' inherent "wild power to leave seeds (reproductive ability)" is reawakened. If we consider this, this miraculous phenomenon can be explained scientifically.
And can this also be said about humans?
Of course, humans and plants are different. However, we are also living organisms made up of the same "cells." We survive by absorbing nutrients from plants. Therefore, it is natural to think that an unnatural diet or stress can disrupt hormone balance and cellular function.
What if the "wild power" of CGF, which repaired the cells of seedless grapes, could have the same effect on our cells? Perhaps our dormant "intrinsic vitality" would be awakened, and something would change from within our bodies. I cannot help but have high hopes for this "potential for humans" from these tiny green grains.
Explosive energy of life "CGF"

Chlorella is a single-celled organism that has existed on Earth for over 2 billion years. Its greatest feature is its incredible speed of cell division , dividing four times every 20 hours .
What supports this tremendous growth is a unique cell growth factor called CGF (Chlorella Growth Factor) that is found only in chlorella and is not found in other microalgae such as spirulina .
By feeding chlorella to seedless grapes, the CGF energized the plant's cells, restored the "disturbed hormone balance," and awakened its innate "wild power to leave seeds behind."
When you think about it that way, doesn't it all make sense?

In addition to the "CGF" we talked about this time, chlorella is packed with over 60 types of nutrients.
5. Make up for lost wildness with a single grain of green
We can no longer return to the days of self-sufficiency. Vegetables sold at supermarkets and seedless grapes are important foods that support our lives. It is difficult to live without these things.
That's why I would like to suggest that you enjoy "convenient meals" while supplementing the "vitality" you lack with the real thing .
The Yaeyama Chlorella we handle is a "lump of life" made only from sun and water , and is not artificially manipulated in any way. It is a 100% natural "lump of vitality" that grows through photosynthesis using only the intense sun and clean water of Ishigaki Island.

When you can't shake off fatigue or feel unwell, it may be a sign that your body is screaming out , "I want to live more!" or "I want more energy!"
In such cases, instead of adding specific nutrients through supplements, try putting CGF itself into your body. Its power, which can even revive the seeds of seedless grapes, will surely awaken your dormant cells as well.
